Use the flow chart below which has been designed to smoothly help you navigate this process and figure out an action plan for what needs to be done next. Remember that struggling to pass and even failing an exam are completely normal things to happen, and they do happen more often than you might think! But there are processes and procedures in place so that you don’t need to figure it all out on your own.

What do I need to do now?
Don’t panic! Struggling to pass and ailing an exam does not define you as a veterinary student or as a person. It’s normal to struggle and it’s even normal to fail an exam during your time at vet school. Sometimes life just happens, and that’s okay. So take a big deep breath because things will work out, and there are processes that you can follow to get through to the other side of all of this!
